Learn How to Do Business in India
Hii friends !!
Today we will discuss business types.
There are 2 types of businesses.
Type 1: -Self-Employed Type 2: -Employer
Let's discuss these types.
Type 1:- In this type of business you are the owner
of the business and you do all the things like accounting, stock management, communicating
with your clients yourself.
Even though you don't have a boss to control you, but here your business controls you.
Type 2:- In this type of business you are the owner
of the business but you hire employees to do most of your jobs. You save your time to
do other important things like business development, finding new ways to increase your
sales, expansion, etc.
In the first case, you don't have to worry much about your expenses.
But in the second case, it becomes very tricky and you need to keep track of your
expenses. You need to find out your daily and monthly breakevens.

I will explain the above business types with some examples.
Example 1:Carpentary Business Most of the carpenters I have seen are self
employed, they do their own jobs.
Suppose a carpenter is very skillful in his work. Whoever has seen his work is always full
of praise.
He started getting work from famous people like Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan, Narendra
Modi,etc.
He started to raise his fees and people still gave him work.
Do you think he can be super-rich if he keeps doing the same work?
Most of you will say yes, but no he can't be rich for long.
What if he falls sick? What if he gets injured?
Will he still get paid?
Always remember your work should be process-driven and not result-driven.
What he can do after getting a bit famous with his work is he should hire someone and
teach him his way of carpentry.
Then again teach someone else his way of carpentry and again and again and again!
Now people are not paying him,they are paying his work which someone else is doing.
Example 2:Chaat Business I always eat chaat from a roadside stall, I
still, don't know why our mind gets convinced to eat such unhygienic food.
But it's tasty and we all love it.
I once discussed with my regular chaat guy, he sells chat from 6pm to 11pm in the afternoon.
No, it's not just a 5hr 6hr part-time work, every day he wakes up early in the morning and has to
prepare the materials himself.
Do you think this is scalable even if he gets famous and increases his pricing?
No !! He has to learn the art of leveraging his time.
Example 3:Colouring Business Recently we did coloring of our house and
as usual, I was back at discussing with the painter ;)
He did one of the finest jobs I had ever seen, he cleaned our house, kept newspapers at the right
a place so that nothing else gets ruined by the color and he did it
all with immense passion and no complaints.
Profitability very high, but was he able to scale it? No !!
There are huge potential and huge scalability in every business.
You need to find out how you can leverage your time.
